« You can always explain, why it doesn't work,
We can't explain in detail, why it works,

but it works very well... »
during a conference by Franz-Eicke von Christen (PLEQ)

This statement of the "rotary kiln teacher" of Dirk Gerlach at the end of the ninetees was one of the important phrases in the thinking of his rotary kiln pyrolysis life.
To do a "simple" conventional pyrolysis process is one part, but DGE wants more:
  • understanding what didn't worked
  • plus understanding what can be working
  • plus researching for unknown parameters

« The energy in a closed system is constant! »
first law of thermodynamics
Really? ... What is really closed ???

The DGE mission

Of course we agree to the first law of thermodynamics, but we still ask if a system is really closed.

It is in the nature of the man that a tested and succesfull way will be standardized and gone many times. But in the course of time the borders will be changed. Sometimes borders will be shifted, sometimes borders will be destroyed, but always due to the changed conditions new situations were generated.

So the DGE-team is still crawling the net for new technolgies and solutions, but also for forgotten files and technologies, which can be newly adapted.

For example: The pyrolysis technolgy is used in simple form since thousands of years and pyrolysis plants are in operation in Germany since 1982.
But at first at end of the 1990th the sorting technology was so succesfull, that an economic combination of pyrolysis and sorting technology could be (sensefull) practized and the pyrolysis can be developed into thermolysis.

The DGE team

is a combination of different characters:
The Generalist... The Specialist... The Expert...
... needs a basic understanding and must be open for unconventional combinations of a lot of different technologies. ... can be combine 2 or 3 different technologies ... is the luminary in his technology.
The DGE-management knows that noone is perfect and noone couldn't knowing all. So we created a network of specialists and experts in different category groups. So we formed following key statements of our thinking and acting:
  • Accept the knowledge of the other!
  • Try to be a respectfull partner!
  • Share and earn!

The DGE-network core technologies

We still have a lot of partners but we still searching experts in following devisions:
  • Physical (mechanical & thermal) product treatment
  • Chemical (also catalytic) product treatment
  • Biological product treatment
If you are interested to share your expertise please contact us by mail.
