Upgrading of RDF

Target

  • Increasing the heating value of condensate oil up to over 21 MJ/kg (Important for using the fuel in calcinators)
  • Reducing of elementary oxygen in solid and/or condensate oil
  • Producing liquid fuel for easier/safetier storage
  • (May for future) producing chemical raw products

Products

  • Permanent gas: Mainly H2, CH4, CO, CO2
  • Condensate oil: Due to process conditions and input educt from light oil to heavy oil/tar
  • Condensate water: Due to process temperature from acid to alcalic
  • Solids: Carbon black and due to educt higher value of ashes

Advantages DGE Basic Technology

  • continuous process for highest quality and stability
  • Simply chlorine and sulphing binding in solids
  • no critical emissions

Needed Pre Treatment

  • Drying: suggested 10% WC by press drying
  • Crushing:
  • Compacting: Suggested for small storages and very safety feeding
  • Sorting: normally RDF is enough presorted

Post Treatment by Partners

  • Heavy oil burner for all condensate oil qualities
  • Coke dust burners
